By using our Site and providing personal information, you consent to the collection, use, and disclosure described in this Policy. For marketing electronic messages (email/SMS) we will obtain express opt-in consent in compliance with CASL (Canada’s Anti-Spam Legislation) before sending promotional messages. You can withdraw marketing consent at any time (see Section 11).
4. Who we share data with
We may share personal information with:
Contractors/installers: your name, address, photos, and relevant details so they can provide quotes and perform installations. Contractors are independent and subject to their own terms.
Service providers who perform services on our behalf (e.g., CRM, hosting, analytics, payment processors, SMS providers). Currently used or planned providers include: GoHighLevel (CRM/marketing/scheduling), Stripe(payments), QuickBooks (accounting, if/when used). We may add or replace providers; we will continue to require contractual protections.
Legal or governmental authorities where required by law, court order, or to protect rights and safety.
Business partners or purchasers in the event of a sale, merger, or reorganization (with notice to affected users where required by law).
Contractors and service providers only have access to the information necessary to perform their functions and must keep it confidential.
5. Cross-border transfers and storage
Some of our service providers host or process data outside Canada (for example, in the United States). By using our Services and providing information, you consent to the transfer and storage of your data on servers outside Canada. We take reasonable steps to ensure that third-party providers use appropriate protections.
6. Retention of data
We retain personal information only as long as needed for the purposes described:
Leads / prospective customer records (no paid transaction): retained for 2 years from last contact unless otherwise requested.
Client and transactional records (invoices, payments, tax records): retained for 7 years to meet tax, accounting, and liability needs.
We may keep limited archived copies of records longer if necessary for legal claims or compliance.
If you request deletion, we will delete your data unless we have a legal reason to retain it.
7. Security
We implement reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect personal information, such as access controls, encryption in transit, and secure storage. No internet transmission or electronic storage is 100% secure — while we strive to protect your information, we cannot guarantee absolute security.
If we become aware of a data breach that creates a real risk of significant harm, we will notify affected individuals and regulators as required by law.
8. Cookies & tracking
We use cookies and similar technologies to operate the Site, analyze usage, and personalize content. You can manage cookie preferences through your browser settings or via any cookie controls on the Site. Refusing cookies may limit some functionality.
